Joan brings to her practice over 35 years of experience as a corporate executive and independent consultant, helping people and organizations manage change. Her expertise is in designing and conducting assessments, on both an organizational and large-scale community level; strategic planning; executive development and succession planning; and designing performance management and employee selection systems. Joan’s professional career, prior to becoming a consultant, includes journalism, community economic development, and financial services. She graduated with honors from the University of Vermont and Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
